Now summer is here there has been quite a lot of activity happening in the NZL moth scene.
		</para>
 		<para>
There have been new boat orders a plenty with Kevin Hall’s Mach 2 arriving, but with a house move and some work he hasn’t yet had the chance to unpack his new toy…

Top local sailor Andrew Wills from Northsails New Zealand; a multiple keelboat class national champion – including winning the Etchell Worlds a few years ago is waiting for his new Assassin, as is Brownie, Chris Steele and Andrew Eaton from Blakewell White Yacht Design.
		</para>
 		<para>
Darren and Holly will hopefully be joining the fleet in the new year, once they get their orders out the door before Christmas (AssassinMoth is very busy with many orders – which is great for the class, locally and internationally with an affordable, competitive Moth on the market).

The NZL sailors have set up a training schedule with Brownie, Kevin, Willzy, Chris and Sam Schofield intending on training at least 3 times a week together as we see that training together with set goals for each session will accelerate each of our learning curves immensely. The Class has also set up a regatta schedule which includes the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS at Takapuna on the 24th and 25th of April and Auckland Championships on the 13th and 14th of March. A few of the sailors will also be heading to Dubai for the World Championships. At these World Championships the class will be again pitching for the World Championships to be held at Takapuna Boating Club in the coming couple of years.

The class is building in New Zealand and we are happy to report that we expect 10 local boats racing/training/having fun by early in the New Year.
