Labour Weekend - Takapuna Boating Club Friday through Monday, the International Moth will be flying off the waters of Takapuna beach. On Sunday afternoon/evening there will be a launching party at Takapuna Boating Club in the Bar with key note speaker Rohan Veal the current world champion and finalist for Rolex Sailor of the Year for 2007. Other things happening include a drag race between Moths and RS:X windsurfers along the beach, racing in the Labour Weekend Takapuna regatta and coaching from Rohan Veal. Organisers invite anyone to come down and enjoy the spectacle. If you’re keen on the International Moth class and the weather is good you may get the chance to have a go!
