South Africa Moth Report - March 2004

I've been following the Moth class on the internet for a few months, and have decided to build a Foiler Moth.

When it is ready, (1-3 months from now), I am going to register it. I have a feeling that it will be very popular.

At the moment I only have a few paper models made by copying the web pictures. If anyone has some good detailed photos of the rigging, rudder attachments, foiler control system, or any other useful drawings and data that I can use to build a Moth, please email them to me!

I intend to use my prototype as a mould, and sell a few to cover my costs. When there are more than five Moth owners we can register a Class with South Africa Sailing.
