I have some old Full Force foils that have a hinge flap with a gap. From Bill's paper if the gap allows water to travel through the hinge the performance suffers a lot. Is there an easy way to seal the gap with a bit of tape, sikaflex, etc... Has anyone got any good ideas/experience with this issue?

Doug,

there's some special pre-bent self-adhesive tape available used by model aeroplane makers. Not exactly cheap but might be useful on Moth foils as well. Check it out here.

Cheers, Ole
