Thanks to the help. I have fixed the typo, and spotted some div tag HTML errors that i thought I had fixed....

Did you use the quick reply or post reply option?

Sorry for my late reply. I used the Post Reply option last time and it worked. Now I'm using the Quote button and it too seems to have worked.

By the way, is there a link to the forum on the home page? I am getting in through the link you posted but I can't see a link on the main page. Maybe I'm going blind. Thanks once again for all the hard work.

There is no link yet. I will put one in the menu on the next update.

Ok. This one posted using Quick Reply so I think all options are tested.

By the way, email notification of new posts to a thread is also working! Great job!

To get all geeky and boring the forum is embedded with an IFRAME. This causes some page references to not work, and the 2 sets of scroll bars. Not sure how to fix this but will look into it when I have time, as agree it is a bit annoying.

All at the best,

Doug

Doug,
Something changed. The inner scroll area for the forum is now about 12 lines high so reading the forum is nearly impossible. Can you have a look when you have a chance?
Thanks much.

Have changed back the IFRAME height. So the forum should be easier to read now. Still have not got a perfect solution for this so having to use IFRAMES at the moment.

Hi Doug, second scroll bar is now totally gone. This is perfect. Thank you.

It is not totally gone but i am glad it is better.

I am a bit disappointed that there has not been much activity here. Maybe there are enough forums out there already...

One of the reasons I set this up was for the discussion of Scientific papers in a new science section of the site. I have not got round to doing this yet.

Just wait and see, Doug! The Forum is a great idea but! It just seems that everyone ist still used to post and read in other forums so that it may take some time until this becomes the central hub of the class.

Cheers,
