Hi everybody,
I'm in trouble to get the sail number. I'm in France with a new moth Sphinx-Colibri model, but there is no way to contact my IMCA delegation here. The french class look stuck and I can't get informations from them.
So, questions are, how can I get my sail number? and how can I get my ISAF plaque?

This boat is a professional construction but the architect don't know the rules to do these stuffs.

I hope I'm enough clear and I hope someone can help me.

thank you,

Jean-Marie Clement

I think you can get on direct from the International Association. It would be worth sending Adam an email to discuss. All the committee contact detail are here:

Good luck!

The builder (or you if they did not do it already) needs to contact Adam May (Contact data here: http://www.moth-sailing.org/imca/faces/imca_committee.jsp) to get an ISAF sticker. The sticker has the build number on it which is your sail number plus your National letters. So it will be something like FRA 39**.

It went quiet about the French boat building project but are they building new boats?

All the best,

Doug

Thank you both. I gonna send an email to Adam. I hope he can help me.
In France, the building project's are quiets. Some people bought bladeriders but I don't really know who and how many.
Actually, I'm co-owner of the sphinx-colibri prototype. The deal was to built few units of this one but the project is freeze. The architect's drawn and built a new one named katana, he look's fine with a hull shaped like a seaplane, it's awesome. I've no feedback about the boat but you can find picture on this web page, http://www.diben.fr/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=32&Itemid=52.
For the sphinx-colibri web site is here, http://www.foilsector.com/file/Bienvenue/Bienvenue.html, (it's a french version...)

Anyway, I try to schedule my next summer to go to Switzerland for the European Championships.

Regards,

JM
