The International Moth Association of New Zealand would like to announce its title sponsor for the Asia Pacific Champs and Sprint Series being the "North Shore City Council".
It is great to be working with North Shore City on this event as their knowledge of running events + their PR machine to get the crowds involved is amazing.
The Asia Pacific Champs is a 9 race series over 4 days, while at the end of the day in the evening at 5pm there will be a "knockout sprint series". We are glad to announce a $5000 prize for first place for this sprint series. Hosted at Takapuna Boating Club the sprint series will be held as close as the wind and water allow from the beach, meaning an awesome speckle for the North Shore community. On top of this, the event will be providing expert comments from 470 sailor Geoff Woolley to keep the crowd in the loop, and we are looking at getting the event filmed onto a big screen on shore for really up close action!

The Moth Association have already had queries from the USA, Sweden, Australia and Great Britain as well as several "new" local moth sailors joining the class for this event.
With the great help of Oceanbridge Shipping a local Takapuna shipping company, the International Moth Association of NZL can also provide discounted shipping from Australia.
